Fay is coming to terms with the arrival of a daughter that she has not seen since she entered prison for a horrific murder. Her daughter, Josie, has no memory of the first eleven years of her life. Fay helps her to recollect the past and the most horrific memory of her father, a lovely man who pushed things too far, with fatal consequences.
